Completing the Bridge of the Gods 10K is in the Running category of my bucket list. It was in there last year too (as a 5K) but I recycled it and added the 10K leg. I’m happy to report that this one is also checked off the list.

Last week we took a trip from the Seattle area to Vancouver to visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and found that it is well worth the drive.
Lake Twentytwo is an easy five and a half mile round trip hike. The trailhead is located near Granite Falls (WA) off of the Mountain Loop Highway.
Getting to the Winchester Mountain Lookout in the North Cascades, Mt. Baker area is harder on your car than it is on your legs. The drive to the top involves a seven mile, single lane dirt road with some big potholes and more than a few washout areas. That said, once you arrive at the trail head the rest of the trip is a snap.
